Classical Manual Osteopathic Care, is a gentle non invasive, hands on treatment that emphasized the structure function relationship of the body. This therapy follows a belief in the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate, which is why manual osteopathic practitioners do not see themselves as healers, but instead as facilitators to health.

Osteopathy focuses on facilitating the health of joints and muscles through non-invasive manual therapy, helping to strengthen the framework of the body, and acts as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medicine.

By working with the interrelated systems and functions of the human body, manual osteopathic therapy can return the body to normal health so it can self-heal and self-regulate.

Classically trained Manual Osteopathic Practitioners have studied surgical level anatomy and physiology over the course of 4 years, and have completed 1000 hours of surpivised training and practice in the public clinic in Hamilton.

All treatments are provided with clothes ON. Osteopathic treatment is a safe, gentle and effective way of treating the body, giving a sense of wellness, less pain and potentially fewer negative health symptoms from underlying health problems.

Ai-Linn graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO), in a 4 year, 4200 hour program with a required 1000 hours of clinical training. She received her Masters of Practice in Manual Osteopathic Sciences.

As a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, she specializes in the structure function relationship of the body. She was a former CAO staff member in the testing department and a former member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Osteopathic Association.

Prior to the completion of this program, she practiced as a registered nurse. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with her Bachelors in Nursing Sciences with distinction.

She has a passion for young families, women’s health, palliative and end of life care. Her vision is to help create a community where families can thrive in health, and educate the community on how they heal themselves.

She is a mother to three children, a yoga, pilates and meditation teacher. When Ai-Linn isn’t in clinical practice, or chasing after her children, you can find her singing with various other choral groups, chasing the next big snowfall to ski or Snowboard or in the dance studios dancing ballet.
